  1. I think I remember the Drawbridge and Epicurean ... definitely remember Lamplighter, Nickyo's (I can still remember the woman's voice in the radio commercials), S&W, Slug's, Stassino's, and Chateau. And I'd be crazy not to remember Valentino's and Knife & Fork!

  3. Remember the Gondola on Wilkinson Blvd? Very old-school Greek/Italian joint with red & white checked table-cloths and candles? I remember it being quite dark in there... Anyhow, I used to love their pizza!

  4. My husband and I used to love going to the Gondola in Charlotte back when we were dating in high school...late 60's. Their pizza was the best!

  7. Nikyo's Rodeo restaurant was owned by Nick Panos, a good friend of my parents. When he died (about 15+ years ago) or a litle before, it closed.
